Application

The International Medical College (IMC)/MIB GmbH is the institution in charge of student admission and the conduct of the Master's course of studies, regulated by cooperation agreements with the individual participating universities and thus resulting in a uniform procedure for admission. Those who are interested in the Master's course must register online; once their data have been checked, they will receive a confirmation of admission and the required contract as this Master's course of studies is subject to a fee. If the number of interested parties exceeds the number of available places (the number of participants is limited due to the limited number of available places for the clinical practical training blocks), admission will be decided on a first come, first served bases.

Admission requirements:

  1. general or relevant subject-related university entrance qualification
  2. license to practice medicine (stomatology) or dentistry in Germany (requiring the successful completion of dental/general medical studies at a university with a regular duration of at least 10 semesters (300 CP)) or
    equivalent license recognized by a state medical or dental board of one's respective country
  3. the Examination Board decides on the determination of entry requirements and in particular the equivalence of foreign degrees and other qualifications acquired abroad

Please note: The web-based basic modules ensure, once the course is completed, that all participants, including those from other countries, will be equally qualified for the specialization modules.

Subscribing

Please fill out the online-registration-form. You will be informed about the status of your admission by e-mail. If the number of interested parties exceeds the number of available places (the number of participants is limited due to the limited number of available places for the clinical practical training blocks), students will be admitted in the order of their registration dates.

If you are admitted, you will receive a document "preliminary agreement" by e-mail. Then you have to make a down payment in amount of EUR 1.000 to guarantee a place to study. The down payment will be reduced from tuition fee. In case of withdrawal from the Master program the down payment will not be reimbursed.

Before the course begins you receive a contract by email. Please sign the contract and return the original document by postal mail to MIB GmbH, Gartenstr. 21, D-48147 Muenster, Germany.

For the participation in the IMC Master Program we require the submittal of the documents listed (documents are accepted in English or German language only) as soon as possible by email to IMC@med-college.de or postal mail to MIB GmbH, Gartenstr. 21, D-48147 Muenster, Germany
  • a copy of your approbation license (to practice medicine/dentistry)
  • a copy of your passport
  • informal curriculum vitae
  • immunization status/health certificate:
    are you vaccinated against hepatitis B, and tested for hepatitis C and HIV (valid 3 years following the date of issue)?
  • optional: proof of advanced academic degrees or doctoral degree
