The German Surgical Foundation (DCS) bestows the Ruth-Erwig-Award for the five best masterthesis of the IMC-Master-Examination Year 2017 in the total amount of 5.000,-€ . The candidates will be selected and announced by the examination comittee of the IMC Master Program.
The award ceremony will take place on Friday 5th October 2018 from 12 pm – 1 pm where the award recipients will have the chance to present their masterthesis in a short lecture (10 minutes).
Alumni-Presentation – Call for papers
The IMC Congress provides two sessions where IMC Alumni-Master have the possibility to present their own research, experience and special cases. The sessions will take place on Thursday, 4th October 2018, from 4 pm to 6 pm and on Friday, 5th October 2018, from 3 pm to 6 pm (a break is included).
All IMC Alumni-Master may participate and submit an abstract in English using the provided template until the deadline of 15th July 2018.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee of the IMC Congress Organisation, and candidates will be inform until 1st August 2018 about their acceptance for either an oral (10 minutes) or a poster presentation. Detailed information about required formats will be sent with notification of acceptance.
The accepted abstracts will be published in the Congress Proceedings.
During the congress a poster session will take place where the 20 best masterthesis of the IMC-Master-Examination Year 2017 will be presented. These 20 masterthesis will be selected and announced by the examination comittee of the IMC Master Program.
On Thursday, 4th October 2018, from 1pm to 2pm a posterinspection will take place where the candidates will present their work beside their posters.
